I used to think about it in the same way.

But I got overwhelming proof when I started my second TikTok channel based on some of the old content from my first channel on TikTok.

With the first channel, I never got anywhere.

When I created my second TikTok channel, I had several videos that went viral. Would you like to know what I did? You can model after me.

If you want to grow viral on TikTok, here is the proven strategy that has worked for me and many others.

Here is what I did to grow viral on TikTok. It is a proven strategy that I have seen helped many channels get started:

I see this happening many times with people who use a strategy they learned on Youtube or somewhere else, but the people who teach them haven’t verified that it works.

If you are fed up with all of the BS out there, I suggest that you commit to testing out this strategy for at least two weeks and upload videos consistently.

One of the key factors to grow on any channel is to upload consistently.

I recommend something with your name for your channel’s name, and yes, I am talking about your real name here.

Here are a couple of tools you can use to help your new channel get started and grow quickly, and most of them are free.

Create a spreadsheet on Google Docs or any other spreadsheet maker that you already have.

Create four columns: Video URL, Their Video Views, Total Time to Create, Posted.

The biggest mistake newbies make is that they try to model after these videos.

In the make-money-online industry, people talk about side hustles and getting paid, and in the weight loss niche, people talk about melting away fat and wearing clothes that you haven’t been able to wear for many years.

How to Setup Your TikTok Channel for Virality Right from the Start

The first thing you do to grow viral on TikTok is to find the channel’s “how-to”-content. Of course, you can’t use their story or journey, but you can use your own story.

Even if those kinds of videos typically get fewer views than the top-performing videos, it’s best to start with them to gain some momentum.

Then, copy the URL to the video and paste it into your spreadsheet under “Video URL,” type in the # of views.

Please take note of the hook they use. The hook is a marketing term for the words that draw people in to watch your videos.  (Source: Wikipedia).

Use the same title as they did in their headline.

Think about what people search for. A great tool to use here is AnswerThePublic.com to see the questions that people in your niche ask. You can use three searches a day for free, even if you haven’t created an account on their side.

Here’s a tip if you want to show people “How to search Youtube,” for example:

Flip the camera on your phone and use the back camera to show something on your computer.

Then, show people how they do the thing you are teaching them in the video as you record it.

You don’t have to record every second that you do the thing. Only for a little while when you do the actual thing or show them the different steps to do what you teach them.

Lastly, flip the screen on your phone again and tell people what they should do next. You might say: Follow me and like this video to get more tips like this.

When you are just starting, you don’t want to tell people to click away from TikTok to your offer or landing page, but you want to keep them on the platform to grow viral.

If you notice that one of your videos got many views, you can re-upload it to your channel.

Then, repeat the process that I described to create another viral video.

Unlike many other marketers, it will not hurt your growth or your ability to go viral.

Every niche is different, but people often look for the easiest or the fastest way to achieve results.

If you can tell people about something they don’t know, and you will show them how to do it, and those who test it out gets results, you will earn a lot of trust in your niche, and people will be watching more of your videos, and think that you are an authority in your niche.

Rinse and repeat a few times before you do it alive. Don’t just recreate other people’s content, but put your own spin to it and make it unique.

That isn’t plagiarism.

Unlike what you might hear from other marketers, you won’t get videos taken down or accounts shut down because you do it unless you are reuploading other people’s videos to your channel, of course.

Change it a bit to make it tied to you and unique, but don’t try to overthink it and think that you can do it better, especially if you are starting.

Understand that you need to model after what is already working to grow a following on TikTok fast.

Take notes and learn from their videos.

They are doing something right, and if you want to model after them. All I want to say is that success leaves clues.

Post 1 to 2 videos each day and watch the growth.

If you are doing it alive, which will help you grow a following, make sure you interact with your followers and tell people to check the link in your bio.
