I am fully aware that it is biased since it describes what worked for me.
Of course, since we are all different individuals, what worked for me doesn’t necessarily work for you.
Here is how affiliate marketing works in a nutshell:
- You sign up for an affiliate program, which is free in most cases.
- You get accepted to promote a particular product, and the company or network will provide you with a link. On some, you do not need to go through a validation process and can start promoting immediately.
- You put your link in front of the right audience. It can be in an email, on your blog, or your social media. NOTE: Most social media platforms don’t allow you to share your link directly. I recommend that you use a URL-shortener like Bitly.com or Dlvr.it.
